Under these melancholy notes and these half-dreamy, half-disenchanted lyrics, we discover Shelmi, a Parisian group first known under the name of Super Social Jeez and composed of Sacha, Benjamin and Célio. The group then underwent a sort of mutation, more influenced by “new school” hiphop, French rap and sometimes pop sounds, to finally be reborn under the name Shelmi in the spring of 2016. Drawing a complex portrait mixing sensitivity and fragility, between hope and disappointment, of the generation of which they are part, they portray this schizophrenic generation as a little tired and lost, losing its bearings but which does not want to stop fighting; she just wants to keep dreaming. A parallel universe then emerges from which one does not want to escape - it is a question of "escape" substances - since the elsewhere is bitter and reality difficult to bear. We are driven by a cottony and powerful spiral, supported by the quality of the visuals of the collective of TBMA Studios, directors of the music video. From this song, follows a hypnotic ballad suspended above time from which we do not come out unscathed!
