Since few months, we have the chance to work in a workshop shared with a multitude of other artists from all walks of life : painting, styling, embroidery, theater ...
The young theater company La Cabarette, founded by Pauline Miocec also present in our common space, offered us a collaboration in which we could express our universe.
Her wish was to combine performances and theatrical expression of all kinds, with the skills and creativity of other artists working in that place.
We chose to imagine a colorful scenography referring to the circus, because our performer was also a contortionist and a gymnast. From the start we wanted to take up the codes of the gymnasium, between foam mats, hoops and fluorescent ribbons.
In this space, the contortionist could evolve around playful sculptures and weave through the circles, and create figures according to her dance.
The soothing music impels a plunge into the dream, and allows you to let yourself be lulled, accompanying the sensuality of the performer.
