I passed a Bac Applied Arts and Dance in Rennes in Brittany. I then returned to ESAA Duperré in Paris to do a BTS Design Textiles, Materials and Surfaces, that's where I started to get interested in accessories. Then I did a Professional Degree in Fashion Trades, still at ESAA Duperré for 1 year, I developed a small collection of 4 shoes by learning by myself how to make them through advice and books. At the same time, I discovered leather goods while doing an internship at Isabel Marant with the leather goods designer.
For this collection, I had the chance to work in a leather goods workshop and to develop each accessory, alongside a fellow leather craftsman. Started over a year ago, this collaboration, and these exchanges allowed me to transcribe my plastic experiments into finished products. I also worked with a bootmaker to make the uppers of my shoes and I made the heels entirely, like small sculptures. It's two collaborations that brought me a lot, it is thanks to this know-how, to these traditional values and to the technique of leather goods and bootmaking that I was able to give life to the ideas that I had aspired to. .

Today, it is the dreamer that I was who I want to take control of.
It is this woman who lives to the rhythm of her emotions that I am targeting.
In accordance with the values of her time, she accepts her differences and her need for independence.
The accessory is its double. Through him, she can hide or show parts of her personality. It is SHE who decides. His quest for knowledge and recognition flourishes in his encounters. A companion craftsman, a poetry, a painting, the simple beauty of his daily life. It is through all these things in life that this child-turned-woman, aware of the challenges of her century, finds herself carrying one of these Mad Creatures on her arm.
I am currently doing an internship at Maison Kitsuné and I am assisting the accessories stylist.

My goal is to learn leather goods in order to be able to develop my future projects from A to Z with rigor and quality and perhaps pass my CAP in leather goods.

Can you tell us more about your brand? Where does your inspiration come from to create these creatures?
Verwicht is a brand of accessories for bags, shoes but also scarves, with a strong added value in quality and originality. It is a dream brand for the moment since there has been no sale yet.
“Have been waiting for the high tides for weeks. Of those where the sea leaves us a playground, often inaccessible, favorable to the imagination, where everything becomes bigger, new, experimental. By dint of jumping from rock to rock, I discover a large pool where the water, trapped there when the sea descended, is of a different color. Crystalline, both a mirror of the sky and an aquarium magnifier, it seems to sparkle with life. Hands in the water, I discover a multitude of textures, living beings, slipping between algae and stones. It is a pleasure to touch and be amazed by these anemones, these trapped fish, these shells, which by their play of colors and shapes, are not seen on land but only in water ”.

It is here, in reminiscence of the little girl I was, that you can discover the creatures of my collection entitled: Folies Créatures . My bags and shoes are straight out of this organic, spooky world.
In addition to this, you need to know more about it.
I would like these forms to be able to touch, move, or disturb as I was able to be a child, to discover this magical world which was this open-air aquarium.

It is by modeling and sculpting clay that the shapes come to life in my hands. Bringing matter to life is an essential step for me. From this ceramic sculpture comes the 3D modeling, then the mold to cast the final piece, in aluminum. Through this process, I imagine my bags and shoes sculptures with associations of colors and confusing materials. In this, the pieces of Ron Nagle and Ken Price inspire me, disturb me and question me through their juxtapositions of antagonistic materials and their chromatic shocks.
It is a perpetual dance between rationalities, utility, and sculptural object.

Can you tell us about your latest project on video? Did you define the artistic direction?
This video project was born from a desire to mix dance with my creations. I wanted this medium to bring my bags and shoes to life. I really wanted a collaboration with several people, to mix the universes as a challenge and the pleasure of meeting.

This is how I contacted Alexis (@alexishedouin) , a very gifted friend who I danced with in high school and who is now in Boris Charmatz's company as a professional dancer and choreographer. By discovering the musical work of Théophile Langer (@umbraid_) whom I like a lot, I decided to contact him to present my project to him and find out if he was ready to create music in collaboration with me following the first ideas and the vision I had of my collection which was still being researched at that time. He presented me with several samples following my first shared inspirations, to end up with a 7-minute track. This music was used for my show in November 2019 in Geneva.

I then started looking for an artist working the video and that's how by talking with Florence Tétier from Novembre Magazine , she advised me a duo, Carolina and Daniel (@ era.xvi) who came from 'arrive from Chile two weeks before I meet them in Paris for the first time, in April 2019. I like their very retro aesthetic. They only film on a digital camcorder. Their ease of filming bodies in motion and in close-up was perfect and complementary to the photos I took with my photographer (@rosannatutta)
