Ashish Gurpa - SS16
Ashish Gurpa, fashion designer, born in Delhi, son of doctors, first studied at an art school in India, before moving to London to continue his MA studies at Central St Martin. Graduated in 2000, his desire is to come and settle in Paris in order to work in Design, however as soon as he arrived in the capital, he had all his projects, books and the money he had on him stolen. North Station. He will all the same subsequently produce creations for Yeda Yun, his first client, then he will work for many celebrities such as MIA, Madonna, Jerry Hall, Victoria Beckham, Kelly Osborne, Lily Allen and Patrick Wolf. He will receive the award at FFW (London Fashion Week) for the 3rd time as a New Generation Laureate. He recently collaborated with a capsule for Topshop "Ashish for Topshop"

During his last show for "London Fashion Week", he did not hesitate to cover his models with sequins, transparent veils while making them cross the catwalk on skateboard decks. Combining lightness, transparency and the trasher spirit. This is reminiscent of a series of well-known photos, taken by photographer Petra Collins, where young blue flower girls straight out of Sofia Coppola's film, "Virgin suicide", playing rebels with their boards, their rhinestones and floral dresses!

But after this incident, he has produced designs for Yeda Yun, his first customer, and now he work for manies celebrities like MIA, Madonna, Jerry Hall, Victoria Beckham, Kelly Osborne, Lily Allen and Patrick Wolf. He received the award at the FFW (London Fashion Week) for the 3rd time for the new generation's laureat. He has collaborated with Topshop "Ashish for Topshop"

It's like airiness, transparancy and spirit trasher. It reminded us a series of pictures made by the photographer Petra Collins , where romantic girls with flower coming out "Virgin suicide" by Sofia Coppola, plays the rebels with their boards and glitters! So beautiful work!
